A multidisciplinary dance/theatre piece based on the notebooks of Leonardo Da Vinci and their universal mind. THE FIELD (working title)

What started as an interracial queer love story has expanded into an all-encompassing story. 6 humans of 6 creeds prove to society that LOVE IS LOVE IS LOVE. This love affair takes place in a field. That field becomes their nest, preferred home, refuge and battleground. This piece uses original text intertwined with movement based storytelling breaking down barriers of form and gender. Based on an anonymous quote found on instagram and Chikamatsu’s “Love Suicides at Amijima” as inspiration, this ultimate tragic love story uses 6 performers alternating roles every night in a story that transcends boundaries given to us in society.

Cast: 6-10 people of all ethnicities, genders, ages and bodies.

OTHER WRITING

29 Days, 29 Dates: My Crazy Social Experiment

It all began in January, when I was sitting in my East London flat thinking to myself, "Next month is February, and yet again I will be alone and single." Then a lightbulb went off: 29 days, 29 dates, 29 chances to find love. Surelyof them would be boyfriend material!

Currently Writing:

The Adventures of Fernettapoo, a Childrens Book Series

Based on my mother’s daycare Jellybean Junction (1985-2020) and the van named Fernettapoo that took the children on adventures. All the kids sing to Fernettapoo so that it gets them to their destination safely. Each book they would go on an adventure to learn something new about culture/history/society like about gender nonconformity, women’s rights, the history of racial justice, how DNA works, how to love your body, bullying etc.

Kinda like Magic School Bus meets A Child's Introduction to Pride By Sarah Prager, but the modern important social issues and excluded histories that we never learned in school.
